5 year old. Neutered Male. Akita mix. 69 lbs. Im a silly fella who really enjoys being with people. I love getting lots of love and attention and will lean into you for a little more affection and attention. Im a super guy who already knows Sit, Down, Shake and Sit Pretty! Im super talented, if I do say so myself. Im very playful and I especially love squeaky toys but will be happy playing with any kind of toys especially if Im hanging out with my favorite people. Oh, did I mention how handsome I am? But I probably dont need to tell you that! I was surrendered by my adoptive parents on April 26 because I have a high chase drive and Im aggressive to animals. Prior to that I was surrendered by my short-term owners because I have a high chase drive and wasnt doing well with the cats in their home. Due to my high chase drive Im looking for a home without small animals, cats and small dogs. Even when I dont live with small animals I have a high chase drive with the animals in my neighborhood or that I see out my window so I need to be adopted to a home that is not in a city and one that has a quiet neighborhood without a lot of activity and other animals. I will run after anything that goes by quickly so my new owners should know that about me. In my prior home I chased after another dog and my leash broke and I attacked the dog. During the situation I snapped at the other dogs owner who was trying to break us up. Im a lot of dog and because of my chase drive I will do best in a home with kids 15 years old or older. I think if I live in a quiet home without a lot of distractions I would blossom. Im a very smart dog who enjoys being with people and playing with my toys. If you are an active family in a quiet neighborhood and will give me the exercise and play time I need please stop by for a visit.
